District 3 Toastmasters – Contest Season
Welcome to the District 3 Toastmasters speech contest season! Each year, members have the opportunity to challenge themselves, grow as speakers, and support one another through friendly competition.

This season features the following speech contests:
Tall Tales Contest
The Tall Tales Contest celebrates creativity and humor. Contestants present a speech that is highly exaggerated or completely fanciful, entertaining the audience while showcasing storytelling skills.International Speech Contest
The International Speech Contest is Toastmasters’ most prestigious speaking competition. Speakers deliver a prepared speech on any topic, with the opportunity to advance through multiple levels all the way to the World Championship of Public Speaking.Club Contests
Club Contests are taking place now through January 16.Speech contests follow the official Toastmasters International Speech Contest Rulebook.
Advancement Path
Contestants advance by placing according to the Speech Contest Rulebook at each level:
Club Contest → Area Contest → Division Contest → District Contest
Eligible winners from each contest level advance to the next level, provided all eligibility and participation requirements are met.
⚠ Important: All clubs must let us know if they plan on sending a contestant(s) to the contest via this Google Form by January 16, 2026. Late submissions may not be accepted for progression to area-level contests.
